A course especially for our senior dogs

This course is very important to me for a variety of reasons. Like us humans, our senior dogs also suffer from declining sensory abilities. This means that in many situations they need more time to assess their environment, because their eyes and ears no longer work the way they used to. This can lead to insecurities when encountering dogs - our elderly dogs simply can no longer adapt to others so quickly. So they need a calmer and more controlled setting with dogs in a similar age to continue enjoying interactions. However, other topics are also becoming increasingly important, such as daily check-ups of the ears and eyes, or taking care of the claws and fur, as well as carefree visits to the veterinarian or physiotherapist. The physical abilities are no longer those of a younger dog and so tasks that promote mobility and strength are just as important as part of this very special course. Finally, I would also like to address the needs of the owners. Having an elderly dog in your home brings with it its own set of emotions that we have to deal with on a day-to-day basis. Here it helps immensely to be able to exchange ideas with holders who are in the same situation.
